It all begins with the briefing stage. Here, Jenny spends time understanding her client’s aspirations for their property, along with their personal tastes, lifestyles, budgets and timeframes. This often involves initial site visits and one-on-one meetings, where the focus is exclusively on the client and their specific needs and ambitions.

Once the brief has been interpreted, the conceptual stage gets underway. Here, she applies her creativity as she explores a range of ideas and possibilities that draw on her extensive design knowledge. These are then expressed with detailed mood boards containing samples of proposed finishes, imagery, sketches and floor plans.

Upon concept approval, the finer details of each room and design aspect are carefully curated and presented with design boards. These can include furnishings, fixtures, bespoke furniture, custom-made joinery, window treatments, lighting, artworks as well as objets d’arts. Accompanying these are full specifications, costings and lead times, all of which are tailored to the project. The procurement of goods is taken care of in-house along with regular site visits to ensure the design is being effectively executed every step of the way, from concept to completion.

Jenny always takes on a small number of projects throughout the year to ensure that her clients enjoy the benefit of working directly with her as their designer. While she typically works on the entirety of a residential property, she also welcomes individual room projects.
